The NSW Longboarding Association (NLA) is the first level of representation for all longboard surfers, including members of the many longboard surfing clubs in NSW, who wish to compete at regional, state and national levels. It is a not-for-profit organisation run by a committee comprised of annually selected longboarders from across the state.

As a part of the Surfing Australia structure, NLA is responsible for the running of all events associated with the selection of longboard surfers, from all regions of NSW, into the team representing NSW in the Australian Longboard Titles - held annually at selected or rotational state destinations.
